start with the cheap stuff first
Are you getting a CEL? Does it even work?
I doubt the coolant is low enough to keep the fan on(you will get a low coolant lite) but check it anyway
Is the temp gauge getting hot? If it is get it to shop ASAP. Can be anything from a temp sensor to a head-gasket
Build your air up til the air-dryer goes off with the hood up), shut engine off, turn the key on but DO NOT start it listen for air leaks,if it sounds like the fan is leaking air, the fan-clutch needs rebuilt/replaced.
You can check various sensors with a jumper wire or an ohm meter,I would start with the high pressure switch on the A/C line. It's usually the culprit about 60% of the time.

yes it could be a intake temp sensor, a/c pressure signal, or a bad request from vecu or climate control, if you want to check all the electric system and sensor, disconnect the fan clutch selenoide, the 2007 model are behind the harness close to the washer filler 1 green hose and 1 black. once the 2 pin plug is disconnect, start the engine and let it idle 1 minute, you should have 12 volt. the test lamp is a better way to check. so if you have 12 volt, all the electronic system work. it could be the selenoide or the fan itself
