If you have your withholding set up properly, no. If you have significant sources of other income (stocks, second job, etc) then maybe.
I would suggest however you get of per diem by the end of 2012 if possible (makes things easier tax wise to change at year end). The way that SNI does per diem ends up hurting the driver in the long run. You end up paying less in taxes but also earning less which washes out any benifit for MOST drivers. Talk to a tax professional to be sure, then get the hell off per diem. A chart follows for your edification.

You have to fax a form you get from your dbl to do it, and you should do it prior to 90 days to have it effective on day 91

Byw: my bunk webasto heater stopped working lol. The night actually left it on for more than half the night, the next day it stopped working. What's up with that smh. It's an old rig, hope they can fix it when I drop it off on Friday or Saturday.
