Got a little dirt devil handheld from Wal-Mart. It lasted six months so if it breaks now I'll just go get another one. Cost $20 and holds the charge for just under a month. I plug it in for 24 hours the day before I go back out and run til it dies on me!

Shark from Walmart. It really has the power of an upright, love it. But you have to have an inverter, the ones you plug into lighter are horrible.

I have the Burton vacuum, sold at most truck stops.

It does a good job, but you have to be sure it is charged up before using it.

Not bad. Fits right into right closet on 379Pete. It's not as big as it looks and all the hose and attachments nest inside unit. Good power. Can also use as a blower.

Even the little hand held rechargeable "Dust Buster" vacuum is great! You really want to avoid the big shop vacs though because they draw a lot of power and unless you have an APU you are going to have a tough time running it. Maybe keep a long extension cord or two and you can plug in wherever you can find an outlet.

Another good thing to have is an air chuck and small coil hose in your truck. You can buy an adapter kit in which you can simply splice the air hose directly into your seat air. Now you have a sweet little air gun to blow out your truck! Good for blowing out the dash, air filter, radio, electronics etc... They are really cheap and can be found at most major truck stops. Just a little side note, be sure to not use while driving!

Haha I bought that exact one from Amazon it works perfectly man. When not in use it fits in my top compartment over my sleeper perfectly. Get it, it does a great job. I attached an air blower to my seat that I use to clean the filter.

Do you eat in the sleeper, if yes then a vac might be OK. I would just hook an air hose to my air tank and blow out the inside of the cab. Nothing wrong with a small vac, I just like the extra room for storage.

Another thing my wife and I used to do to keep the truck clean was that we bought a 6' piece of carpet from walmart and cut to fit inside the truck. Really kept the truck nice and every three months or so we would just throw it out and buy another one. For under $20 it was definitely worth it! Think about everything you step in outside the truck, that ends up in your truck and a good possibility it ends up in your bed!

We never wore our shoes past the driver and passenger seat and we would keep a bottle of lysol spray in the door to spray our shoes all the time. My wife would always talk about walking around the rest stops and truck stops, especially in the rain, slushing through all the piss!
