    well. i aced the pretrip, i missed a reflector on the side of the trailer, and i passed the skills far as i know, along with mountain grade and emergency stop, but i failed the roadt test :( ill be coming back after new years and ill be here a couple days and then retest. and then i imagine itll be straight off to orientation.

    You didn't ace the pre-trip if you missed a reflector ;-)

    Sorry to hear about failing the road test. Did you point out or hit a curb? I haven't been through Swift's training facilities but it sounds really weird. When I went to school, it was at one location and if you failed you tested the next day. Why wait until after New Years? Was today the last testing day?

    Sorry You didn't pass. We were all rooting for you. You'll get it next time. You know we all want to know what you did wrong. I know you get nervous and make mistakes. Same day I went for mine thid kid failed cause he was told to make a right a the light went straight. :biggrin_25521:

    Oh no I'm still here. Just had an adventure getting home and then got sick. Sorry for the wait and no news guys. Thanks for all the support guys :) ill do a proper update ASAP!

    well, only thing i missed is that side reflector thing on the trailer. ###### up the 45 for my skills a bit. downshifted on a hill and then stalled near the dmv and traffic had to go around me. we were training on a truck for a week and someone said it had to be traded. new truck was less forgiving which led to the stall. so i have to go back to minneapolis and durand, wi. then i imagine itll be straight to orientation.

    then the storm came in and the buses got cancelled so i got a friend from baraboo to come get me. we ended up in a ditch near eau claire, she was drivin. got out an hour later, had to use all my cash for the tow truck and gas money but met up with my fince and our friend in the dells early the next day the got home a few hours later.

    then i got sick. fine now and resting.
