For the most part, humans are like cattle. The next time you walk into the Mall, or somewhere with a busy doorway, and be the first to go into a particular door. The people behind you will follow you through the same door you chose.
I had something similar happen to me outside of Pennington Al. There is this out of the way TS, that is rarely full. I chose the farthest, most out of the way spot so I could open my windows, and not have to listen to a loud truck, or refer unit. As soon as I started to dose off, a truck backs in directly next to me. Keep in mind, there are over 50 other places to park. I moved, and within an hour another truck parked next to me. I gave up after that and closed my windows.

The first Driver i saw nosing in was a Female in Jacksonville FL on 301 and I-10 and i always thought that Male Drivers would not make eye contact and for more privacy. Then a month later i noticed alot of trucks doing that nosing. I started nosing first when i wanted to sleep with my Engine of opposing a Cat 550 idling all night and i feel the Driver that started this thread, it pissed me off that i nosed in and another ###### nosed besides me and idled all fricking night. For those of you that criticized us nose parkers, remember when your trainer said, AVOID BACKING ### MUCH ### POSSIBLE!!!!!!! Im just following my trainers advice Jajajajja

Didn't read all this, but I suppose someone has mentioned they nose in if the lot is inclined to where the truck would be leaning forward if you backed in? That is the main reason I would nose in. If the truck is tilting forward I will toss and turn all night. If it is tilted back I am even more comfortable than on level ground. Other reason I might nose in is if I'm the only reefer so as to minimize the noise to those around me. But I won't leave me arse sticking out in the aisle.
