If you make it to orientation, you're hired. Unless you lied and they caught you once you got there.

Finished the week with 2,534 miles and very happy that I made the switch to Averitt!

Yesterday was a rough one. Picked up in Dillard SC on Wed night. Trailer was supposed to be ready at 8 PM. The customer ended up getting me out by 4:15 AM!!! Had just enough time to get it to the final by the 11 AM delivery. Then 4.5 hours to unload. I was not a happy camper...but that's life in Truckload. Detention pay will come in handy.
Then I got to our Knoxville SVC and got a load from the yard to New Orleans. Getting unloaded here now and then after my break is over I'll run to Tupelo SVC and pick up a trailer and take it home to Chattanooga. I had 1200 miles yesterday evening and by the time I get home I'll be just over 2400 for the week. My FM saved the week.
Three days off and then out the day after Christmas. I am looking forward to this time off. I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and I hope you know in your heart the glad tidings of great joy that it represents. -
My week started off late cause I had a dr. Appt tues so I didn't get to leave home til Wednesday. Left Fulton headed to Chattanooga to grab a ltl to Memphis then got me a leg going to Irving Texas yesterday got that off early this morning then got me a load out of Arlington Texas that's going home with me. Didn't set the world on fire but I sure do appreciate this Texas run

I picked up my load on Tue, and finished last night....Done until after Christmas
Drove from Tupelo to Chattanooga, to Rome GA, Marietta GA, ATL, Decatur, Morrow, Macon, and Warner Robbins GA, then back to Tupelo...7 stops Wednesday, and 3 yesterday.Vashaun75 Thanks this. -
The no yard is a full svc ctr as well only no fuel avail there . Its called NIL by Averitt . Tough place to sleep planes on 1 side and RR switching yard on other lol . The so yard is so small we have to drop our trls in the yard and bobtail outside gate to sleep tight quarters there , hope that helps a little . Also a svc ctr in Milwaukee . I get to them quite a lot out of Atl
