Anyone else in this class? Any suggestions from others to help me get started?

I start class January 14th in Richfield Wisconsin, something I have learned so far is dont be afraid to ask these Millis drivers, in this forum, anything. These guys have been willing to answer a lot of my questions, and have been perfectly 100% honest with me. If you ever get a chance to speak with one or more of these drivers personally, I would highly recommend doing so. I got to experience life on the road this week with a friend of mine, and had the opportunity to personally meet one of the drivers at a truck stop, eased my nerves quite a lot, we talked for a good half hour. I have also spoke with a driver over the phone that has been with Millis a little over 6 months. Gotta say with how much these guys are willing to answer any ?s, there is no doubt in my mind that I have chosen a top notch company.

Truck rides nice on heavy beer loads in my opinion. Only difference is take corners a little slower and don't be riding up on anyones bumper. And I'd say right now anyway only about 20% of my loads have been beer loads.

    Tim83 Thanks this.

Beer and paper can tip over but paper can have disastrous consequences when it does.

Thats what i was thinking. The paper i hauled in a dry van was always lying on its side, never standing up. Can still flip trailer if not carefull.
