Nice. Left missoula friday at 4pm, got to Santa fe springs Saturday at 11pm, get dropped at the yard oops, thank god i they were just closing and one of the dock guys gave me a ride to the terminal. Get to my truck (a volvo) check it over. Seems nice. Do a little VI then try it out. Different from a freightliner. So wait for a qualcom on a load home to get it setup cause i have nothing except the clothes i took. No loads going to Modesto, have to check Monday. So i slept in the bunk wrapped up in my jacket. Not a good night sleep. Got up this morning did another VI and gee got a nice oil puddle under the truck and a air leak on one line to a air tank. Catch a shop guy (and this is where it gets real funny) tell him there's a oil leak. He ask if it was there last night. Well of course it was after leaking lol. He takes a look and guess what. Yup its an oil leak. He ask me if i had any oil. Hmm just got off a bus last night, nope i sure don't. He replies, neither does the shop. Lmao. Really. Well here's why i already love this company. Made a call like i was asked to do if i ran into any problems. And an hour later me and my truck are at the local motel 6. I hope i can at least get the air leak fixed in time to get a load out of here. Thank you Don and Jan. God knows i need a good nights sleep before rolling down the road.

Well got my first load out of mira loma from nestle company. A broker run from jb hunt. Of course the pickup was already late by time i got the message. I took the load thinking like a car driver, its only 8 and a jalf hrs to get to the receiver lol. Low and be hold i get to the shipper and it takes me an hr to back up to the dock in the dark between trailers lol. Wow i was stressed out. I got loaded and left the shipper. Pulled over to update my log and here comes a lot lizard in a car nicer then i own flashing me asking if i want a good time. Im like heck noo. Im already late all i did is this dummy bugging me. On top of everything else glad hand spring is to tight and pulled my emergency air line of yhe trailer wow that was fun. To keep it short. I made it to the receiver by 9:30 am the next day on time and docked the trailer the first shot yea. Of course it to them 3 hrs to let me in and an hr to get me unloaded. Of course i was way out of hrs. All in all i got the job done and safely

Ya big zip ties are good.... glad you made it safe and sound. ya don't let stuff stress you. you'll get it there when you get it there. as long as you make the effort and aren't hanging out at the casino or something.

Yeah made it home to get my stuff. Had let them know there was an air leak. Get back to my ta this morning and my truck was still in the shop. The shop couldn't find a leak, so as I'm loading my gear i cranked it up and it was out of air. I let it gain its full 140psi and watched it fall down to the governer cut in. Got out amd you could hear the worse now. So the shop guy crawls under my truck and yup some box is leaking and cause its a Volvo he doesn't know what it is. Once he got a hold of Volvo and found out i learn that I'll be down till after the holidays. Dang i was ill set. New fridge, microwave, 1500 watt power inverter, and a holiday bonus. Well here i sit, broke down and waiting. Can't wait.
