    Really?

I guess that was a joke or something....

Anyways, can you tell me what is the average salary for a truck driver in Alberta? A friend of mine is making 7.5 k in Toronto. But he is an experienced driver. I am just wondering whether it makes to go and work in Alberta instead of staying in Toronto.

    Thanks for your reply! =)

Tried that when I was in Ontario, didn't work out for me.

Come spring time gonna try to apply again, this time as an Alberta resident. Want to get into a Picker truck or mobile crane job.

Hi Boom, I like Your idea. Front Page article in Truck West has prompted me to re-think my employment strategy. I would like to pursue a position that requires Certification, recognized as a Trade.

Hi Prairie Boy. What positions are in high demand? Is pre-hire sponsorship the way to go? I can fund my own training.

Been around for a long time. Does the name Howrd Hughes mean anything to you?? It was either Howard or his Dad that started it.

Hughes Tool Co. was the forerunner to Baker Hughes.

My mom's second husband was president when it was Lynes Baker United.

He didn't wear Kleenex boxes on his feet though.

Just wanted to get some opinions. I was trying to get a job in the patch in Red Deer or Medicine hat to be closer to Calgary for my days off, but all my offers have been north of Red Deer. I've had offers from Whitecourt, Edson and llyodminster. These towns seem to be harder to find a room to rent and more expensive. Is there any more benefits to working in these towns vs working down south.... Like it being busier?

Had offers from Trican and Sajel any opinions as to what company has the better reputation?
