try manual prime. the primer is on pump.
round knob, push and turn to release. it comes up, then pump
but losing prime is bad. why is the question. if that is it. -
D12D got no fuel solenoid. They use pump injector units.
When battery is low and you try to crank engine ECM fuse may blow (#40 as I remember).
Other problem - it is not easy to prime D12 till you loose bleed valve on top of cyl head.
FM is cabover, not so easy access like with VN -
but i still can bleeding with just loose the valve on the top of cyl head and switch on the electrical fuel pump right?
how about wiring or electrical control unit check? any idea? maybe immo, sensor..
thanks -
pull all the active fuel codes
-
Today already doing a lot but the engine still cant run, there is no fuel codes, what is the fuel pressure in the injector rail when the electrical feed pump running?
and how about engine feed pump? -
over 0.6 BAR at crancking - engine starts. at idle 1.5-2.6 BAR, faster - not over 4-5 BAR (if fuel pressure limiting valve is good)
-
thanks for info.
