That is a deal to the right guy. $25K for a truck with only 130,000 has got to have a future with somebody out there.
Not me however. I have driven COE Kws, COE IHs And COE Macks. No more cabovers for me ever. Ever. -
There's something about them 70s and 80s model Kenworths. I love the way they look.
-
Cabover = first one to a wreck, often times the last one to leave.
Do I like COEs????? you figure it out. -
The first truck that i ever drove was a 1987 IH Cabover. It was a nice truck. I got moved to another truck and the guy that took over the cabover let it roll down a hill and into a tree! The tree won!

not a fan of cab overs but that one is nice. they are too bouncey for me.

that is 1.3 million miles if you read it. Still a nice truck, those aerodyne cabovers still bring a nice penny. Oh and a cabover isn't as bad on fuel as most people think. The biggest factor in wind drag is frontal surface area. It doesn't matter if it is all one flat area or sever flat area's like a pete. And when you figure in the extra surface area of the stacks, air cleaners, headlights on a 379 pete a cabover can actually have less wind drag.
It's a nestolga thing. The first truck I eer rode in was a 73 pete cabover which was my dads first truck. I'd buy one and drve it because they are cheap as heck. Would I drive one for someone else? no way.
By the way, there is an old cabover dump truck rnning around my neighborhood. only thing I can think of when I see him is "I wonder who he pissed off to get that truck" -
Ah yes, I must have missed it. $25,000 for a truck with 1.3 million miles on it is one thing, but for a CABOVER, no way jose'.
Of all the gloom and doom issues in the trucking industry over the years, I gotta admit that the phase out of COEs has been one of the best things ever.
On the funny side, I would pay money to see the expresion of a truck school newbie, upon being told here is your truck - International cabover spring ride suspension single bunk with no power steering. Okay sorry that's just mean...
