well thankfully no storms in Wisconsin and the roads are pretty clear, hopefully the next few states along 94 and 90 are the same way

Got hit in Kansas City the other day with that Blizzard. Then slid in between two winter snow systems on I-5 thru the Siskiyou's .. Made it home for Christmas.

stopped for the night on the border of ND/MT, hopefully it passes overnight and leaves me alone, the drive today was awesome, like NO one on the roads, saw a few may trucks running by going east and 2 are here at the pilot

so... past few days I've been talking to a friend, who went to the same school i went to (for cdl), and worked here for a few weeks then left (joker I believe you were his trainer lol) so he went to another company for a bit and now has his own truck that he leased direct from a dealer I believe.

he is now leased to CR england, of all companies lol but anyway... He says hes getting about 3000-3500 miles a week, and seems to be unhappy with that. he says he needs to be running 4000-4500 miles a week, bringing HOME 10K a month, for it to be worth it... . so, is that even feasable? and I say is it feasable with the fact that he is leasing the truck, im sure if he OWNED the truck then i could understand it, but to me it just seems like hes just setting himself up for failure. I know i havent been around long, but if a company told me they guaranteed me 4k miles a week i would just say they were lying their ##### off to me. But i just see his posts on facebook on occassion where hes getting all mad and i think to myself, did this guy even do any homework and see how much he was going to be making before getting into all of this... even if you were able to go right out and get your own truck it doesnt mean you pass go and collect 200k a year right off the bat. I dunno maybe I'm missing something
