all you can do is keep practicing and try to get a memorizing thing going. see if you can practice on a truck somebody owns.
-
Get in a pattern and do it the same way every time. Approach the truck start from the front work your way around. Go from top to bottom. Think your way through it. Is there a study sheet the school gave you? If not the front of a trucking atlas will have the inspection. Take your time and talk outloud as you are doing it. That way when you test nothing will change from the way you practiced it.

I know what to point at he says im not saying the right things like for mirror i said mirror is solid he said what does that mean (not hanging ' not loose)when i checked all the lights i said they were working but he said that i did not say that they were not cracked . stuff like that
-
Maybe use the word the lights are working fine and they are not cracked so it check out.
The tire is low, but it is not flat I need air.
I am guessing here, maybe he want's specific answers to make sure you understand what you are checking for?
Just a guess from your response above. -
Hey bengalman, where are you testing? I took mine in Bellfontaine Oh and the guy there was great...even gave me a little help when needed. And even though it was years ago, you might consider it. But really, this time will pass and you will go on to a great career!

I tested at canton cdl school
-
Notarps4me....that is the way I learned my pre-trip and I passed the first time.....start at the front and go to the back...good luck to you..

It is properly mounted and secure.

we used "properly mounted, not damaged" and added "not leaking" if it possibly could.
