Indian River Transport, Co. - Winter Haven, FL.?

Hopefully the problems with my truck have ended. It only has 244k miles but I have been in the shop five times for five different problems since October. I would have asked for another truck, but it doesn't have a GPS. No GPS means the truck can't turn itself down. The shop would have to do it, and they never have.

 

There were a lot of tractors sitting at the Clovis yard, yesterday morning. Looked like a lot of folks went home for Christmas. I don't blame them a bit for taking off on Christmas. I will be passing through there tomorrow on my way home, after I drop this load of groceries in Las Cruces. Y'all have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

 

They are waiting on the yard, for loads to get them home. We are not moving much milk due to the schools being on break. The amount of trucks keep growing. Some are from FL and some from CA.

They have an ad locally in Tampa for teams, must be fun sleeping with the slosh!!! You guys be safe!!

They will not unload early even if your load of cream is the last one on earth and there won't be any more...so don't bother going over there any earlier than you have to. Plus there's nowhere to park unless you park on the street.

Hey Southpoint, not to be all mushy here, but you're like the come back story of 2012. I know the struggles you went through trying to find work and now you're busting out the miles with IRT, here's to a safe and productive 2013.

Merry Christmas and sorry so many are stuck away from home. Only met 3 last week going toward Miami all the way to Virginia. Light truck traffic on 95 all the way.
