Exit 16 on I76 what a dump. The place has not seen a remodel since 1971. DO NOT sit in their up stairs driver's lounge. You will get bit by fleas or lice from the 70's era sofas that look like they came from a landfill.

Don't forget about the $8 hamburger. They are so overpriced for such a dump.

I thought the restaurant was now closed. The place is a real dive, yet they seem to get a fair amount of rigs parking there for the night. I've even seen Werner trucks parked there, only about 5-6 miles away from their terminal. Maybe the attraction is that it isn't a big chain (Flying J, TA, Pilot, Luvs, etc.) type truck stop.

From what I have experienced all the Tomahawks on that side are dumps. The one on 70 at Bennett, The one on 25, all the same. Nasty.

Yeah it's a real gem. The guy working was telling me they shut the diner down because it wasn't making any money. He said "Someone like applebees could make it work in there." haha. Maybe he meant bulldoze the entire site, add blacktop and a new building to "make it work". The truck shop there does a good wash though. They pull you into the heated bay and hand wash truck and trailer. No habla ingles, but they are thorough.

The one on 25 looks like the Ritz compared to the one in Brighton.
Rick_C and cowboy_tech Thank this. -

I'd forgotten all about that place. Haven't been there in years, but it wa a dive even back then.
