thanks for replying.i live about an hour north of mobile and just got approved for orientation for jan.8th.the reason i asked about sleep apnea is because i'm overweight but i dont have high blood pressure.i just dont want to get down there and the try to charge me to do a sleep study or buy a machine because i cant afford to do either right now.

Yeah u shouldn't have anything to worry about. The dot doc will tell u too lose weight blah blah blah but they are usually pretty cool. Hope all goes well, and good luck. Won't be able to miss me in the yard. Work shirts have Punkn on em. Haha

No they don't.

Seems to be a very good company. BTW, they have a mandatory per diem program. Driver can not opt out.

You can put lipstick on a pig yet at the end of the day, you still have a pig.

yes they test for Apnea and they will enforce a sleep study if their Medical provider encourages it.

Knowing the industry, and some of the rules companies/government put on drivers...I would venture to guess that Raven is more concerned that the driver be given every opportunity for a good nights rest. Has nothing to do with who or what you choose to sleep with---if something goes wrong, and you hurt yourself or others, Raven has their butt covered as far as rules in place to afford the driver a decent nights rest, and "fatigue" as an excuse in an accident, can only be blamed on yourself.Ldhenderson Thanks this.
