Wow had the misfortune of taking the E 470 around Denver from I-70 to I-25 no tractor trailer toll rates posted. Well i can tell you for a tractor trailer it is a total Rip off! The Toll people sent me a bill for $49.00 for a 42 mile run. Are these people crazy or what! over 1.00 per mile on a 5 axle truck to pass thru cow country. Boycott this road until the rates start matching reality. You can blow it out your poop hole ExpressToll.

Correction the trip was only 35.30 miles at a cost of $49.00 so that is a rate of a $1.38 per mile! you have a new silent partner in ExpressToll, Got to be one of the most exprensive tolls in the country for tractor trailers. Blood sucking leaches.

My Company doesn't allow us to take that road.
    Bc it costs so much.

That's too bad, seems like it would be a good way around Denver area.

Why did you take that road in the first place? Knowing that signs are posted. My last toll was Tacoma. 12.50 for ONE mile

It's not cheap in a four wheeler, either. I take C470 from I25 to I70 west when I go to Kremmling, but that side of it isn't toll. Depending on where you were going, you could've taken 225 from I25 to I70 instead, or you could've taken US24 from Colorado Springs and either have shot up US24 to Limon, or you could've gotten on CO94, taken that to US287, gone to US40 from there, and that would've put you on I70 in western Kansas... can't remember the name of the town offhand, but there's a TA there... I think it's a Trails TA.

Informing not whining, we are in a narrow margin business and toll theives like this need to be boycotted by all drivers, if we dont start to take a stand and voice our displeasure you are defacto agreeing with this type of treatment. I am not, this is theivery, granted its only $49.00 but what happens when all the roads are like this. We are getting paid $2.25 a mile and you got to pay $1.38 to use the road and buy fuel as well, they can stick it.

You were paid $2.25 a mile on the whole trip, I'm sure the trip was longer than the lowly toll road.

Quit pissing and moaning, you or your driver did the deed, be a man, pay the toll and move on.
