So some of.you guys are around the Houston area...? I am wondering if you could help me out, I have a 2006 Freightliner Columbia in Houston I am.trying sale. Think you might be able to help me out? If so I will put the particulars out there. It is set up for FB (head ache rack, chains, binders, straps, tarps ect) just thought I would ask...

alright, I revived this thread because today just generally sucked and I am going to ##### about it. I beleive I dislike FL and everything about it. unloaded but took 2 hours as the ground was so soft my trailer sank, my drives sank and I ripped off a mud flap. I dh'd 200 miles went to buy fuel and the pumps were broken. Tried to book a load and then broker gave to someone else after we negotiated the rate. No parking either truck stop on south end of Jacksonville - so no shower. Today just sucks!

 

I had 3 brokers call me with load offers to Florida today. They were very excited and upbeat when I answered "Yes!" to their question about whether I was willing to go there. Of course, I followed that up with "We get a minimum of $3/mile to haul loads into Florida". Their enthusiasm quickly dried up. I think I heard them slowly backing away as they hung up the phone.

 

I got enough to come but this still sucks, alot just one of them days - if the wife and dogs were here I'd kick'em for sure
