they are OTR, they have the teams that run out west, like Washington, Oregon, California, the lucky ones that get the Seattle loads, they get a $300 bonus for being such a long run. my husband usually gets sent to oklahoma, and illinois, he gets good miles. they do alot of wrigley's and mar's chocolate loads as well as shaw and nestle. if you check out there website http://www.kennesawtrans.com/ it should show the states the run in. Ray is the recruiter there, very nice man. im sure you would love the dispatch also! they really do treat you like family and know you by name. oh and by the way, i AM NOT an employee of theres, just have a husband who drives for them and i know alot about the company.

Ok I may give him a call. Thank you very much.
-
you are very welcome

How long has your husband been with them?
-
right now one year. he says been the best year of trucking so far out of the 7 years he has been driving, got his start with Millis and stayed for 4 years, then Swift, now Kennesaw, he is planning to stay with them for a very long time. they also offer the $10,000 seniority bonus once you have given them 5 years. and $5000 bonus if you sign up team when hired. he does solo, prefers it, he tried the team for a run out to Cali, wasnt feeling it. at holidays when drivers want to be home, they will give the solo drivers the Cali loads, good miles there

sevenmph Thanks this. -
They pick and choose who gets good miles. Some teams never stop, others can not get any miles. They start you out with miles then cut you. Alot of waiting. HUGE turnover in drivers.

well like every other company someone likes it and someone doesnt
it seems to work for the OP -
Well all I know is 2 of my best friends have been with them over a year now and is very happy with them
They run solo and get many coast to coast loads and love the fact they'll never see Jersy or NYC again.Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
Solos don't run coast to coast. Only teams. I have been with them 3 years. We run teams and it is still hard to get miles. Alot if sitting and poor dispatching. 5 days for a team run from Ga/Al to Ca then sit for a return load. Solos run Chicago and other short runs. Most teams leave because of no miles.
Mr. Pat is a great guy but he doesn't have much to say anymore.
