apparently, she's "Barely legal". the same length as a 53' with a conventional hence the cabover
-
23 meter or 75.45 feet is the max length so it must be about that. That leaves almost 15 feet from the front bumper to the trailer nose with a 60.5 foot trailer.
-
I think its quite innovative... Move more product = less trucks on the road, more fuel saved over all.
The MTO only approved 4 permits for 1 yr. What I find interesting ia the 60' kingpin setting. -
The trailer has a hitch on the back, they're obviously already planning to haul even more at one time.
-
here we can use oversize trucks up to 25.25 m w/o convoy and ride all over the country. Permit is annual. But 80' is too much, so generally B-double are used.
Anyway here the most popular trailer is European 45', 48' and 53 are used too. 57' are rare and used with cabovers only.
The real problem here is not a lenth limit, but 80000lbs limit. Usually it is some room in trailer, but unused with weight limit -

that is not surprise that save space making smaller gap between truck and trailer we have here more 80.3inch from king pin to front corner , some trailers even more because they have 2king pin positions
