Snowshoes, nice reply!! Seems that there is always at least one 'holier than thou' person that has to jump in and ruin a good discussion.

And they have 2 for coupons for the buffets in the Pepper Mill and Rainbow Casinos, also a free shuttle that goes around the casino corriddor. Tip the driver , if so feel the desire.

If you go down the street to the Nugget they'll give you a free room (in the old side of the building). They always have plenty of parking next to the parking garage.

    Snowshoes and skibum_63 Thank this.

    on a side note,
I don't know how long those showers have been there, but at the same time, i think it's time they need some remodleing. I mean they still work fine and are a thankfull rest stop, but you can see , the shower rooms are getting that ' tired and used' looked.
Hopefull Peppermill, which provides them, will spend a few dollors and 'fix them' up a bit.

I agree, even though large, they could use an overhaul. The are kept clean, just, as you stated, they look used....but on the bright side...they are free. LOL.

Not to change the subject, but what a bogus scam at the Virgin River casinos trk pk'g area with Pay To Park plastered everywhere you look. I didn't stop there for yrs, then decided to, then with all the pay to park signs, I just hurried up and left before some guy came up and maybe wanted 20 bucks or something. But I did hear its like 50 cents per hour, you go and pay in the c store, I don't know and I dont stop there anymore.

I agree, I did the same thing, I pulled in, circled the lot and pulled back out and down the road I went. That is just as bad as the TA in Fontana.

i have heard / read some where , that Pilot was trying to buy the land / building where that closed up casino/ hotle is, at the same exit as VR. They want to tear it down, and build a tk stop there,, of course the locals don't want it. Because of the noisey trucks. that will be spending thier breaks there. Guess they don't want our money..

Thats interesting, it would be a smart investment forsure for pilot to make. Considering the money we make and sometimes gamble away, its hard to imagine that entire city not caring one way or the other if truckers stop there or not. Perhaps they do just fine without us or our money, from St. George and lower UT residents. Who Knows?

That would be an ideal location too. That would be a win win for the town and for the driving community in a whole. Hopefully they can do it.
