The policy is of a driver accepts an outbound load going to NW they are expected to chain up if it means the difference of making on time delivery or not. The caviot would be if said outbound is a mom/pop & you can easily change appointment(s) yourself.

Congrats! Good luck!

I know what you mean when I left jevic to go with Harry to new century then that all went south have made much since. Been w poly 3 week and check have been better than jevic as well

Thanks chemster, I'm hoping to meet you guys and share some laughs , lord knows we encounter plenty as we stockpile MLMRKRS like a squirrel hiding his nuts.

elsriver , How long with Jevic and NCT ? I had no idea.
I started Jevic Jan 01 and was one of the last to go.
You and i had to have crossed paths , I'm sure , I was a Markham regnl , to Delanco team with girl friend now wife , and ended up Cinci regnl last 5 yrs.
Which leads me to think you being a KY guy may have also been J8 guy . Were ya ? And I also went NCT in 9/2010 but as you said it began to look a lot like Jevic.
Now let me know what truck you're in , I'll make note of it and keep an eye out for ya.
As for Jevic , I only was out on the road about 5 or 6 weekends a year , Billy at J8 religiously sent me out with 10 to 13 stops western KY , southern IL and IN. If I drove my Van in from home on Sunday , about once a month , those 10 stop 400 mile Mondays meant the rest of the week could stink and I still clear a grand. Most of the time the Van sat and I got loads starting Maysville , Huntington or Nitro. All those Weekends home and 60k annually without fail , put tears in my eyes the day the msg came across. Old news I know , we all that went down with that ship need to move on. And THINK POLY !Last edited: Dec 29, 2012

Well, it has been a great time at home. Got lots of chores done and spent precious time with my family, Alas, it is almost time to return to work. Got my call from back haul today and I am picking up in Middletown, Ohio on Wednesday and delivering in Houston on Friday. I'll probably be on the road most of January so I'm gonna make the most of my remaining home time and celebrate New Years Eve tonight. Happy New Year everyone!
jdrentzjr Thanks this. -
Happy New Years to all. On my last day at home as well. Leaving very early in the morning so won't be able to partake much this afternoon but all in all a very pleasant few days at the house.

I did not find the answer to the question there though JD , do you sling those things as needed ?
