I did inter model one week when my account was slow only worked two 8 hour days and then I went home for the week. I only worked 16 hours total that week and grossed over 500 dollars and I went home because I chose to.I take any opportunities to spend time with my kids .

J B Hunt one of the all time great bottom feeders. J B Hunt could possibly be bottom feeder God that all the other low life trucking companies worship.

Their third part recruiters sure are getting desperate this days. It wouldn't surprise me if they started hiring people in Pakistan to harass you over the phone with their terrible jobs offers lol

I'm laughing all the way to the bank with my terrible job with JB Hunt! (more sarcasm)! I only worked about 16-18 hours (over 3 days) this past week and made nearly as much as my last driving job in 7. I was home Monday and Tuesday for Christmas, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for my 20 year wedding anniversary. By my choice, I'll be heading out this morning (instead of tomorrow morning) for a 2700 mile round trip that I was asked (not forced) to cover for a sick driver. This is his regular route. I think our account only has 4-5 runs that are more than 1 night out at a time. This will only be the second time I'll be out longer than 1 night since I started here a little over 2 months ago. This really is the best place I have found to work in this industry. I'm treated more than fairly, I'm home extremely often and I make a way better than decent pay check. I'm LOL at home while most of you guys talking BS are stuck in a truck stop 3 or more weeks at a time making less than I do!

I like being home weekends and every other day while making more than any otr driver and if I need extra time off I tell them in advance and will get it they make sure I make all my wife and kids doctors appointments and give me new maintained trucks.to drive I wonder how many jb haters on here are making 46. Cents a mile and 22 dollars for every stop .

Only people with positive things to say about JB hunt are recruiters. Not drivers. Jb hunt IS NOT a good company to work for. They will ruin your life (not intentionally) but that's just the way they are set up. They have their accounts (babies) and forget the rest of the world! Drivers are not really an essential part of the company, just a necessary expense and tax write off. They are NOT pro driver! Only pro office staff. Im sorry to say all this negative stuff but, I've seen too many unhappy drivers at JB hunt. Me included.

I have ten years of driveing in now Iworked for three of the small companies that everyone thinks is so great.Ifinally went to jb dcs after getting tired of being asked to run illegal all the time now a lot of people come and don't make it on my account but it is usually because they can't follow the law. Or they hit something sorry if you can't drive and dent someones car backing into the dock that's your fault not jbs and it will probably end up on your dac if you run illegal and lie about it constantly you will be called in for training before you effect the companies dac and if you don't want to work you won't make any money I am an experienced driver and my dad drove for 20 years before me your not. Going to get treated any better anywere else

sorry it all depends on the account mgr....i was on an account for 2.5 years home every week made almost 67 k a year until 08 when the economy tanked the account was based on construction so it wasn ;t going to get better .....jbs solution to the customer eliminating half their production .....we stay out two weeks instead of 1 for half the money oh yah and everything in the contract well we are not honoring it any more there is good and bad in any big company but in that environment they are taking over lots of great private fleets that had good jobs and running them into the ground just my humble opinion and i was one of the better drivers in our fleet even got a few quartly regional awards

You have 10 years driving exp and you're still driving for JB hunt? Why? Everyone knows JB drivers make 400-500 weekly! Lots of the JB hunt drivers come on the radio complaining that JB hunt sucks! Just the other day I heard a current JB driver on the road dog trucking channel on satellite radio stated he was making $400 a week. Lol. Like I said people, the only people with anything positive to say about JB hunt are JB recruiters. Fact. DCS is also a joke. Most guys there make $450 a week. My friend hates his accost "toys r us" always overweight, lost time everyday reloading trailers he picks up, driver load at almost no pay! This account pays $1.50 for every one thousand lbs. What a joke!
