I've worked for Foster on the Bulk Transport side since February, other than a few minor communication issues, the slow and gutless trucks, and the shop, I would have to say this is the best place I've worked so far. I'm extremely picky on who I work for, and this seems to fit pretty well. Every company has its ups and downs. The money is good, I'm just as busy as I want to be, I work at my own pace (for the most part, electronic logbooks kind of hinder my progress from time to time, but that isnt Foster's fault.) The hometime is there, as long as one tells dispatch when and for how long one has to be home. I would rate them about 4 out of 5. could be an easy 5, but for previously mentioned issues, a 4 will suffice. Great people to work with and for. I would ask respectively though, that if anyone wants to work here. Please get two years of OTR of training elsewhere, then come here. When I hook to a trailer, I can always tell if its a "new to the industry driver" that previously dropped it, and it makes for a difficult day. thanks for allowing me the opportunity to rant about my employment. That is all.
