Well my options were take this load and finish the deliveries today or be stuck until late tomorrow with it and move even less miles. It was bad enough spending all day yesterday sitting, I wasn't going to throw away another day.

I did plan extra time between the stops so I could stop for a nap if needed.

Made it to the TA at ex 150 on I81 in Troutville, VA with 8 minutes left on my 14 for the day. Set my NAT for 7am tomorrow.

 

I just went threw there this morning ill have my ten hour break done before this shipper takes my load then I'm heading to the house probably won't make by midnight though

 

driver hand load/unload. Doesnt happen often for OTR. Unless you fill in on a dedicated run.

 

Multiple stop pick up or delivery.

 

Yea, I like this place. Parking is usually a nightmare, but the restaurant is nice and there's a lot around here.

My other option for parking was south on I-81 to Fort Chiswell, VA. I was too tired to make my own dinner and didn't feel like having fast food tonight so I decided to come here. My phone has 4g here as well so I have faster internet which is nice since I'm going to be here for a while

Its pretty dead tonight though. Parking lot isn't even half full.

 

I did that yesterday and treated myself to Denys for dinner. I didn't feel like cooking either I was being really lazy when I bought coffee instead making it LOL

 

Spending New Years Eve in what looks to be a quite snowy Morgantown, WV. Hope all of us in the Patch have a very safe and healthy 2013!

 

13 outside and tractor still won't idle. Guess drive train still cooling down.

Inexcusable. The day I have to rationalize by saying "the drive train has to cool down" is the day I turn in any and all keys. BeeEss.
