View attachment 40765 well thats what it looks like when ya load hot mix....thats the view out my back window...its basically asphalt...when we dump they run the paver over it....voila...road, or parking lot....i am sure there is more to it...but i dont know...LOL

I've seen those bottom dumps before at various road construction sites. But thanks to both you and Logan for clarifying what hot mix is. I've noticed that the stuff has huge amounts of steam coming from it as it's dumped on the construction site right before it's paved over. And it reeks to high heaven at that....

 

its hot, sticky, smelly, and not something I care to haul ever again in a dump bucket...

spray down with that soap and some diesel and it still sticks in the corners of the bucket, then it gets all over you when your cleaning out after you dump and you track it into your cab with you...no thank you.

 

lol....well i havent had it stick yet.....BUT i do hate hauling it....thats another plus for changin jobs..just dirt, NO HOTMIX....

Mix her up with some Tarmacadamia nuts ( natives to Australia and thereabouts although most 'Mericans associate 'em with Hiawatha. { tha 49th province } ) Hey !!!
