Most companys will rebuild trucks like this, just a way to save some $$$, and give their mechanics something to do in the slow times. Not to mention canabalize.
-
CRST is famous for that

looks like the kinda outfit i wana work for if i ever sell this rig

looks like a pick a part gold mine, whats wrong with not letting good parts go to waste.......

Oh Well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's funny that the crappier companies will have a boneyard like that (Covenant's was worse than that!), but every now and then you see one at a good company and it kind of wakes you up.
Case in point, last time I was at the Wallyworld DC in Seymour,IN, I saw a wrecked hulk dumped in the back dirt drop lot. And it was FUBAR to the extreme; and even though it was partially covered by a tarp, there was a red stain on the cowl that looked a lot like blood. That is one sight that really got my attention, for the wrong reason of course.
Oh and not suprising those hulks are there, they (CRST) will surely pick them apart for all the parts they can canabalize. Gotta love it! TIP's Frankenliner in action! LOL! -
