I just moved to the Boise ID area and looking for a company i can drive for, I want to get my own truck eventually but i only have 6 months experience pulling van trailers right now. What flatbed company hire in the northwest with only 6 months of experience?

    Thanks, Rob

Good luck on that Rob. Most company's insurance will not cover anyone with less then 2years OTR of experience.

System Transport may hire you. Also Watkins & Shepard has a flatbed division.

Thanks for all the replys i definitly want to get into flatbed, When i started i was going to start with TMC and i kicked my own ### for going with werner instead, i went to driving school planning on driving flatbed and i like the physical work involved with it, was i driving the dollar general acount and didnt mind the unloading and was making decent money for right out of school, but had to move to be with family and they dont have dollar general out here.

    UMMM NO

Yes there is more securment time then van, but its still like 90% driving. Securing is easy, and taping is easy after 3 months. I also make a Sh**load of money as a flatbeder.

TMC will still hire you, you will just need to do paid training in load securment.
