Cottrell can help with your questions. They have been doing this a very long time. They test load quite a bit. I think Elwood Feldman is still there. Very knowledgeable guy. Knew him back in my Anchor Motor Freight days, and then we met up again when I was a manager with Hadley. 8 SUV's is going to be about your max unless you are hauling small light SUV's...Ford Escape or the like. And like another post said, they will not sell you something you can't work with.

Im gonna give them a call tomorrow. I called a dealer that sells stingers and he was supposed to email me more specs but i have yet to hear back. Thanks for your input! Hopefully by tomorrow night i will know whether it is better to take the new truck or used truck route once i crunch all these numbers up in my business plan

Cottrell may even have some used equipment also. At any rate, you can't go wrong talking to them. Let me know how it goes.

We used to haul out of Greer Sc plant and could only get 8 units because of weight. We still haul Mercedes out of Vance Al with the same problem. More will fit than you can get by with because of weight.
