i would rather claw my own eyes out than ever work for crst. heard too many stories about them. i know one ex driver from there personally and he said he couldnt even leave his truck at their own terminals for 10 minutes without other crst drivers trying to break in and steal stuff and that is other company drivers.

I guess what I am trying to show you thro unbiased factual information is to go somewhere else. This last year Crst has been involved in 3 class action lawsuits. Crst has already settled out of court for 5.7 million in damages. Google Smith vs crst. Or white vs crst. I cannot remember the 3rd off the top of my head. I know of 2 other pending lawsuits they will lose.

True. My codrivers car was stolen from the fontana terminal. My current codrivers car was COMPLETLY RAN OVER THERE. Chevy aveo. Lol. They are already small. Lol. Someone made his smaller. The mechanics leave your truck unlocked, windows rolled down when they are thro working on it.

I cannot thank you enough Yellow for the info, I saw the pay scale on their website, but to see it can be totally different that what someone is actually receiving because I don't know what the average mileage can be for the first 8 months or year. I prefer for someone like yourself to give me first hand experience and you have, so thank you again.

I am totally new to this so checking out other companies is definitely on my agenda, any suggestions?

It is going to depend on where you live and what you are after.

hmm where I live, well lets see, 2 1/2 years ago I was out in California, riverside county, then I came back to Long Island in New York for 2 years, this past June I moved to Florida to become a grandma (my oldest gave me my first grandchild) job market in Florida sucks and my boss in New York was having problems with the 2 girls (YES 2) who replaced me so I came back up here in November to work through the holidays. Now that the holidays are over I want to set my sights on getting my cdl which has been a lifelong dream. My kids left the nest a few years ago and I have been experiencing a freedom I have not had in 25 years so I've been somewhat of a gypsy enjoying myself. I am a website developer by trade. My home address right now is Florida but I want to do OTR driving.

Pameee. I am actively looking for who I am going to work for next. Here's a tip. Go to the section on this website called "Discuss your favorite trucking company here" if others have found happiness there, maybe you can as well. Just a idea. Its what I am doing.

    Pameee Thanks this.
