JBS Carriers Greeley Colorado

Didn't know that. I been to Albuquerque out of here as well. Will have a fresh 70 come Monday so hopefully won't be put on something too short. Already have 2100 miles for the week though and it seems like they don't like it when you get too much past 2500 so. I'll probably end up with a short one. I Unloaded last Sunday and picked up for the Artic in Forest City AR and took it to Ft.Worth. So I have been doing almost as many of these Artic loads I have JBS loads. But they all pay me the same. So bring them on. I met a girl who was also there in Forest City she was on a dedicated as well.

She picks up in Greeley, then Goes to I think around the Sioux City area. Dead heads to Marshalltown. Then delivers in Tennessee or Arkansas and Picks up either at the Forest City Artic, or Goes and pick up in Dequeen to head back to Denver area to do it all over again. So As you said seems like Army guy was correct with the trying to limit the drivers on Otr.

 

I don't understand why Jbs delivers loads to some of these places. I'm In Tampa Florida and will have to take up a four lane road to blind side into this place and I mean use all the lanes and hope that will be enough. They also said to be here at 1400 but its a first come first serve place and its either 0600 or tomorrow lol. The next drop a hour away, the Qualcom says no overnight parking, back in from the street. This is crap!

 

I know what you mean about some of those crazy docks. Had a few the other day in Philly that wasn't fun.

I thought I would get a short load, but I didn't think it would be this short.

72 miles, empty, then back to Core mark in Sacramento 72 loaded. Going to Modesto Americold and pick up. APT is not untill 1600 then can't deliver till 5 am. Hope I get a LA Load or Bakersfield load. Would put me over 2500 for the week. I wouldn't be surprised if they give me a long one that doesn't deliver till after pay cut off and I'll be stuck with 2300 miles. But another day at the office. You guys be safe.

 

What's new at JBS? Heard they are getting Volvos is there any truth to this?

 

They are definately trying the volvo out. I also know they have a list for guys with a pete to get there new truck sometime next year. My buddy i talk with every day is on the list for next november so im assuming around that time is when there getting new trucks in.

 

hows everyone elses miles goin this month? I have have heard the past two weeks have been slow for some. Last week i only got 2k miles and one load was like 4 days 1000 miles but they ended up giving me 250$ layover on that load to compensate. i also got a reset tuesday morning to wednesday night at the house so that was good. My next load was a 1400 mile run from live oak florida to ankeny iowa so i was kinda happy that between saturday and this wednesday i only needed 1000-1500 miles to have a good check, butttttt here i sit saturday and sunday which sucks. my best check every was last year two weeks before christmas so i dont know if my dispatcher has a different favorite driver or if its really slow. Oh well merry christmas and happy holidays

 

View attachment 40070 Not to bad for me. Got a load to Bakersfield to finish off last week with almost 2600 miles. Then went to LA and took a load to Ogden. Then went to Hyrum and picked up a load to nyc. A guy seen me fueling in Ogden and said he had been sitting the whole day, and still waiting on a load. I was pre-planned on the load to NYC the same day I picked up the Ogden load. I know he was saying he had to be home this coming Thursday if that was the reason they were taking awhile to give him a load. This load delivers Tuesday. Picked it up Thursday. It was ready early. It wasn't due out till Friday. Going to try to get the first 2 stops of tomorrow and the last one off Tuesday. Hope it gets better for you. Merry Christmas.

 

Well I havent been on here in awhile so I thought I would check in.........

Armyguy that Florida dedicated sounds good, I wish they would have had that when I was there!

As for me I am currently looking for a job..........In November I was sitting at a redlight on my motorcycle and some moron rear-ended me! She said her foot slipped off the brake and she hit the gas as she slammed me into the car in front of me! She has ###### insurance and no assets to go after so I didn't get rich but I got enough to live off of till I find something else.

I loved working for a small company but one of the drawbacks of being their only driver is that they couldn't hold my job open till I was able to come back to work, they had to hire somebody to replace me asap.

Dude i hate the volvos tell me they are not doing a knight transportation what about the k dubs.
