Sitting in the hotel in Joplin, truck is in the shop. Hopefully after this round of repairs I can run with it for a while and make some money.

 

Still at home.. gonna try to go back out monday just depends how things look...

 

Well Pete, you're finally seeing things more clearly.. Conway sucks! Low, low pay and lousy conditions. Best thing I ever did was quit (nope, didnt get fired, I quit)! What makes the rest of you continue with this company is beyond me. Must be some kind of low self-esteem thing. Cmn' people, wake up! Dont put up with this kind of baloney anymore... move on and dont look back!

 

I mainly stick around because I don't have your distorted twisted view of the company. Don't see too many truckers posting $1100 to $1600 a week. And also have never had a problem with their above reasonable conditions.

 

I made 58k in 2012...yep working cond suk alot!

just took my week vacation @ $ 1,077 paid

 

Different strokes for different folk. $$$ Is here at Conway. They treat u with respect over phone. Always more than willing to work with u. If your miles are low its typically your fault as the driver as I found out with my logging. Thanks to mustang and Paul for clarifying .

Yea I'm getting about wat I need a week at 2500. Some weeks are at 2000 or so. I haven't had a 1200 week in a while.

 

2500 mile a week average for me. I can say one thing I was at 630 miles last week and they seen it and gave me a 1206 mile run which brought me up to 1936 miles for the week. At least they try to get me to 2000 miles for the week. Right now I am in Emporia, Va going to try out Five Guys Burger and Frys. Taking 34 hours off.
