1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Hello, I was working for Dot Foods, lost my job cause of 4th step of discipline which consists of 3 minor parking lot incidents and putting myself on sleeper on Christmas eve when I was suppose to be on duty breaking down whole lot of freight. Anyway, I need to be where the money is and comming from the military and 2 deployments, I can pretty much deal with any
    hard working conditions.
I need to make at least 65k and more so I can catch up on all the bills.
    thanks
    Matt

I guess I'll be the first to offer some constructive advice. Sounds like your driving career might be shot for now,but don't worry because the oil patch loves veterans. If you're willing to work hard for long hours you could try working on a drilling rig, frack crew, or on a pulling unit. Note that most pulling unit crews are predominantly Mexican so you might feel like the odd man out if you don't know any Spanish. That's not intended as a racial comment, just a realistic one. You'll be expected to pull your weight. From what I've seen slackers don't last long in these positions.

Good luck, and hopefully you'll take your next job more seriously than your previous one.
