Lights, closets in a wagon? Good lordy I am behind the times.

 

I was joking, the way Cali is they will ban breathing soon.

 

They are not really closets....just indents where I can store lumber... I do have a work light on the inside but Im not the kind of guy who needs all those fancy chicken lights on the outside ... Just more CSA chance violations if you ask me

 

Agree on extra lights, all I ever cared for is the stock lights to work and be bright.

Covered wagons have come a long way.

 

With the way LED's are and if you grease all of your connections you shouldn't have a terrible time having alot of lights, I like having the lights down the sides myself...

A conestoga is way more expensive than a covered wagon, though if I was buying a covered wagon I would buy one with a door in the bulkhead...

 

Hey SHC does LS have any guys pulling conestogas?

 

I dealt with the guys in Perrysburg and they were great to deal with, pre and post install. I had a 48' and had them build out the front headboard 6", that way I could haul 48' beams completely inside the kit.

 

Smart move, never thought of that. Do you have a curtain or roll over covered wagon?

 

There are a few, but not many. The main reason I wanted it is because there are several loads near me that require a "curtain side only" and they pay accordingly. In the $4-$5 mile range

 

i have a really good friend who hauls a curtain side for thomas and sons out of coos bay OR and he is an O/O and loves it. hauls lumber to SOcal and beer back to WA. i would give the world if it meant never tarping again lol so jealous
