Hi all! Big_D here giving a quick welcome. I have posted a few times in a few different spots over the past few months and am happy to say that I will be starting trucking school through SAGE in Endicott, NY. Along with that I will be hired on to my fathers crew in which I will be delivering furniture in the Northeast, mainly NYC, Bronx, L.I., NJ, etc.

Going to be doing box truck for the first few months after getting my CDLA, with the occasional drive with my father in his truck. After that will be a Single Axle day cab (hopefully be a cab-over, as I really, really like them), then graduating to the Condo style rig.

I'd love to think that I'm getting a phenomenal opportunity right off the bat, work M-F with weekends off and potential to go home nightly, along with learning from some experienced guys on his crew. Not to mention learning how to maneuver around in those tight spaces, I feel that it will be a GREAT opportunity and experience for me.

Looking forward to joining the community! :)

Thank you gator21! I'm sure we'll definitely bump into each other, that's a given. I've done drive alongs with my dad and his one employer that runs the city and it is a bit hectic, people pay you no respect. That's the piece of advice I will take is staying calm!
