Questions about my hopeful career with Maverick

Not to bust in on your post but.....I'm a company driver for Schneider Bulk and wanting to change over to flatbed with Maverick. I have 5 mths OTR and wanting to switch ASAP!!! ( Can't stand getting screwed over by Schneider anymore.) With the Exp I have,does anyone know if I would still have to go through 4-6 weeks of training with a trainer?

Yes you will but that will be a bit of a blessing as it will give you real world experience.

 

You will also get $500 (I think) a week while in training so that could be a raise right off the bat!

 

Not sure about having to go out with a trainer, but you would have to do the orientation and Load Securement training. If I were you, once you got thru that, I'd go out with a trainer for at least a week or two anyways. Call Mason at recruiting, he will be straight with you and give you any answer you want. He will not mislead you.

 

You will want to go with a trainer for the securements!

How long does it take after you call/fill out app for them to let you know if you been accepted?
