Made it from flagstaff to long beach one time in just shy of 4.5 hours (hot load). I used to run 80-85+ (more than a few times at triple digits) wherever I went, but now I usually only run around 70-75. You have to play it by ear and know where and where not you can mash the motor at. After getting stopped in the buckeye for doing 92 (5 years ago), I backed out of it for a week or two.
Kind of a stupid question.......

less than 5 over and you shouldn't have anything to be worried about. although i have once gotten a ticket for 3mph over the limit however it was 0 points and never even went on my record.

Tell ya a true story. On I-15 out of Vegas we use to know a CHP cop called RedLights and he told us chp wont even look at us big trucks doing 68 in the 55 in traffic just because the avg four wheeler speed is 93 that is no lie. Nhp here now is writing tickets from the St.Rose cut off south to stateline where they just go finished with a report of cars doing between 90 &105 mph thus screwing it up.

I can actually go over the speed limit if I go down a huge hill.
BigByrd47119 Thanks this. -
Yep, depends on the cop.
