4 million, that's twice as much as I make for being a paid Blogger. At least my negative miles I can write off as a loss.

You would have to avg 52mph for 70hrs consistantly to put up those numbers . Nothing but drop and hook freight and dont stop to eat or take a shower . I think you had a lucky week or those numbers are for 2 weeks. Ive been driving 22 yrs . Give me a break . And your on elogs to boot.

By the way i think you are the average trucker . Your stuck on yourself

Well I guess the school system has at least gotten a little better than it was when you went to school. I presented all of the math, I have no idea where you're getting your numbers from. Its $0.225 per driver per mile, for every mile. Or $0.45 per driver split miles. Try to keep up and not get confused. Now you know as anyone with a brain knows that in a truck governed at 65mph I can get 600 miles in an 11 hour shift, easy. So now if each team member runs while the other is SLEEPING we can get 1200 miles in a day. Which is 8,400 miles. And our freight is about 90% drop and hook. Again, where did you get your numbers?

And you, "sir", are the average disgruntled truck driver who mistook inelegance for arrogance. As I stated I love my job and my company. I am really not sure how that makes me stuck on myself. Try breathing deep, and reflecting on your life and stop worrying about others. You are misinforming others because you didn't get your way at a company, sounds like the average truck driver to me. Get unstuck from yourself before you come talk about me.

    paul_4lp and mustang970 Thank this.

I also clearly stated that those number happen once a month, not every week. Weekly average is 5,500 miles. And if a trucking company pays you BI-WEEKLY get out of there!!!

Negative miles...driving backwards? That's 4 words, at a quarter mile per word, Wow, just made a million bucks. Surfer, should try this but he is too busy cashing his CEO checks.

Here is last weeks pay stub. Now you can shut your mouth about not making any money at Con-Way because I cleared $1261.04 this week. You see I am not afraid to speak about how much I make because my company pays me what I'm worth. I think this thread can be closed and locked.

So predictable a reply there. I was born in L.A. too (born and raised in Huntington Beach). I mentioned Boston but, ok, get a union construction job in L.A. Or Atlanta. Or Honolulu. Or Miami. Get it? My point is that one doesnt have to settle for a lousy job in retail OR trucking for the large carriers. Sorry but, they are both just as bad. Lousy pay, lousy conditions
