Chronicles of a Swift trainee

Good 1st day. I started out a bit rusty, but at the end of the day trainer said if I drive on thursday like I drove today, I have nothing to worry about. Going to Durand tomorrow to drive the course a couple times.

Hooked up a truck all by myself today. Also practiced straight back and 45. Didmt have any major trouble with it but I'm still gonna practice cuz I didn't do good on it first time, had to use a 3rd pull up which cost me 5 points.

 

Yup. First is free, 2nd is a point, third is 5 pts

 

Had another good day. Went back to the test site for practice and aced it both times. 2nd time trainer only gave me -4 points. I did nick a curb but he gave it to me cuz I pointed it out, and for SOME reason I flicked the selector down in *7th* gear, but, I fixed it and put it in 5.

He said at the end of today that if I drive on Thursday like I've driven today and yesterday I have a very good chance of getting the least points of all his students, which is -6. And he's trained 200 people. He says just relax and be confident and focus. And confidence is not my strong point. He gave me tomorrow off if I want. I asked him war his feeling was and he said uve got it, relax tomorrow. I'm still thinkin about it.

 

Decided to take the day off. Gonna rest, relax, study emergency pullout and mountain grade and watch movies. Already slept in after staying up and watching tv. Feel very good about tomorrow, though I'm still a bit nervous. Gonna get er done and go home for a bit before heading to orientation.
