from what i have seen in my area, if your new to trucking as I am starting pay for water hauling is about $16 and sand is about $12 per hour. the pay goes up if you have experiance and a lot of the sand hauling places will not hire you without 2 years experiance. I have been hauling water for about a month now and there is a lot of waiting to get loaded and unloaded but your paid hourly so its not that bad

I saw highland had an add in the paper today in Indiana PA, I noticed it linked you to KAG's website...

They always drove nice trucks but I hung out with a couple of those guys when I worked for Myers and they were making 14$ an hour...

I guess Myers just cut all of their drivers to 3 on and 3 off, that way they could eliminate all of their overtime pay and work the 2 shifts rotating and everyone gets right around 40 hours or less a week...

I worked for Frac Tech. Be very very careful. Keep records of every minute you bill, or load you haul. From what I saw first hand they are not to be trusted.

ygt9 - Why the difference in pay? Why pay you more for the water? Also - is OT available, if so - what do you get for OT? Are you getting double time?
