Looks like I passed you up heading n-15......saw a lot of orange heading south, didn't see one going north into salt lake. I guess I can say, I was the only Pumpkin rolling with a hazmat load. Stopped last night at the Petro, now i'm at the flying J on the 15 @ exit 261

Turns out he was a 27 yr vet who still works for Schneider Transport. They gave him a 2009 Cascadia to replace his 2006 Century. It was such a mess inside that he took it to ATL and told them to clean it. When they half assed the cleaning job he told them to try again. Then they let him come back to Knoxville and pick up his old truck to use until the newer one is clean.
So I gave him a ride. It was nice to have someone to BS with for the 4 hour ride. Now I've decided I'm going to spend the night here at the Knoxville drop yard. It's a muddy lot on the top of a hill overlooking the city. It's me, him, and one other truck here. We are all spaced out so once I go to bed it will make for a nice quiet night.
Going this way to give him a ride put me 30 miles OOR. Will have to make sure I get that corrected tomorrow. -
I'm under a load in Hampton,NJ in route for NY on my 34. I have to deliver on the sidewalk Friday morning.

I have used my EFS card to buy at loves. I've also been to a couple that told me when I walked in that they can't accept our cards. It seems to depend on the individual franchises. I can fuel at most any TA/Loves. Never been turned away for fuel. Not sure about Petros. There's only a few that worked with Comdata . Haven't been past any since the switch.
As for the guy I gave a ride to. He said the only reason he was still here was because of his 5 weeks of paid vacation time. If it weren't for that he would leave. At 27 years in the industry he would never get back to it before retiring so he's just going to stick it out. He uses the time to spend time with his son during the summer. -
lol probably got rejected at one and never tried again
