Would be okay if they used the information to track them down and deport them.
But, in reality, it was a waste of paper because most of them will not get the license for fear of being caught. -
Makes sense to me, they can't be here but they can drive?
One_tooth_wonder and daf105paccar Thank this. -
IL law is based on what goes on in Chicago land, and immigration enforcement isn't even remotely on the agenda there. Traffic violations and the uninsured are a problem and violent crime is a problem,
This change was aimed at addressing these problems. I won't comment further for reasons of politics not being allowed outside of the political forum. -
Arrrghhh. O.K.. I know I'm in the right place for opinions. Would/could someone please explain why:
1. The U.S. "allows" Illegals to come in primarily across the Rio Grande. If they were serious about stopping it completely;it would be.
2. Why are their "babies" automatically U.S. citizens? This makes no sense to me. One of my nephews is married to a Mex-American whose parents crossed in 1983 for this very reason.
3. Is not the economy strained because of this influx? I.E. the Medical,School system and other programs I'm certainly missing to point out?
So again-What is the consensus as to why the U.S. allows this to happen?One_tooth_wonder Thanks this. -

I see mostly "Mexican Flags" waving at the rally's. I had a couple of simple questions-looking for a couple of basic answers. Maybe I should have said "Illegal Immigrants who speak Spanish"? Which is the only type of Illegal Immigrants we have here in MN.
