This is some of the best info found in 1 place I have run across. This applies to like myself, "The Rookie" as well as the seasoned "Road Dog". The Tax, I found to be the most helpful. I know "Taxes" are in other posts but thought I would toss this into a new thread so most would see it.
I do take the chance of being audited seriously, so it would be wise to double check deductions with a tax consultant.
I ain't buying "It's on the net, so it must be gospel". Double check the "Tax Deductions" to make sure. Don't give "The Man a chance to come aknockin".

It's a little weak. The page there mentions nothing about the biggest deductions and driver taxes issue of all, the standard daily meal allowance and/or per-diem pay.

Sure it does. Must did a bit deeper to find all the "Tender Cuts of Meat"

Also from IRS on same page

Thanks for the info: I was wondering how the per diem worked, and now I know since you posted the IRS website.
