Thanks. Hometime is 1 day for every 6 days out. Miles depends on if you do regional or long haul. They told me I would average around 2700 a week doing long haul. All trucks are equipped with apu's. There are both rider and a pet policy. Rider is $40.00 a month. Pet is $300 one time fee and is refundable. Starting pay depends on recent experience. I've talked to other drivers and it ranges from .34 to .38 a mile.
They do pay short route miles. Have talked to several drivers that are very happy here. I like that it doesn't take very long to get answers about anything. The staff are very helpful.
Starting orientation w/ Earl L. Henderson tomorrow

Thanks for the quick response! I'm looking at all of my options and this is one of the companies that I am watching, so I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye on how things go for you. Do they hire out of Texas? I live in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. What type of trucks are they running? What's the type of freight hauled? What are the trucks set at? Thanks again for the quick response.
-
Not sure about if they hire out of TX. Would have to call about that one. Most of the trucks are Freightliner Cascadia's. They are getting some T660's now, but the teams are getting those. I got a 2013. It is a reefer company. They haul alot of produce from out west. Beer, medical supplies. Trucks are set at 62 on the floor and 65 on cruise. If you like to run west, we do alot of it!

I live in Redding ca and was wondering if they hire out of that area and also are they firm on the 2 years exp or will they hire guys with less?
-
Yeah, I see that High Country has been advertising on Craigslist recently and was wondering a little about them. The ad says that they have a regional position paying 25%, and out 7 - 10 days. Might have to look into them. Thanks for the heads up.
-
Thanks again for the fast response, I just might have to give them a call and see if they are hiring out of this area. Good luck driver.
-
I believe they would hire out of your area. We do alot of central ca. Been told we do go to a few places around Redding. They will look at you will alittle less experience.

Give them a call and ask for Amanda. She will help with everything. Not sure if just one year would be enough, but it doesn't hurt to call.
