Man, it was 75 when I left Memphis, it feels like it's 10 here. , I wasn't that impressed with Memphis. I'll just leave it at that. lol

I'm with you ACH, I'd rather work. Being laid off is too boring.

Good for you Squonk. Glad to see you're back to working. I love the south but you're right when you say Memphis isn't that impressive. I did go to a blues festival there once, when I got laid over there years ago. That was pretty awesome!

I got the flu and couldnt do anything this weekend lol. Normally I find ways to occupy myself. I spent the whole weekend watching stuff documentarys on ou military lol (well just army and marines... only ones on netflix) I see how hard the marines are, and the first two weeks of the army green berets training looks like hell.

Hopefully tomorrow I have the strength to start my workout tomorrow like I planned originally.

Got an interview for the steamfitters this friday as well.

Funny you say that ACH. I was in the office streaming some music for my ipod and turned on the tv. It was tuned to the military channel for some reason (never watch it) and it was all about Navy SEAL training. Brought back some bad memories! I don't know how I ever did it! They left quite a bit of the training out (for obvious reasons) but man that was brutal. I had forgot how during BUDS, well hell week, they made us stay awake for about 5 days straight! Guess the brain is pretty good about forgetting things like that.

hmm nothing on the seals so far. Only thing I found was Seal team 6 which im watching later. Found one on the army rangers which looked intense.

Never been the memphis, no desire really to head down there

Are you watching Seal Team 6 on Netflix. If you are I watched it and thought it was pretty good. Don't worry about goin down to Memphis. Your not missin a thing except very hot weather in the summer. Gotta say though, did have some pretty good BBQ joints down there.
