sterling1970,Stay the #### away, They will make you sign a form saying the owner operator you work for you will be paying his fricken fuel tax,Stay away worst company i ever seen in 37 years than they will 1099 you at end of the years for taxes on what you made than you got to pay another 23% self employment tax Just get on look up Panther and look at all the drivers that got ripped off good luck to you

 

Thanks for the heads up hammer,I'm trying to get my feet wet in this industry,all I got is a cdl b and myself,are there any companies that you would recommend a novice like myself with no prior otr experience.A company that would put me on and that are not known as scamsters.Thank in advance.God Bless.

 

WHAT!!! I drove for them 9 months and never heard of this.I far I recall I never sign such contract just contracts with my fleet owner.

Just got a call from a katherine ritz out of pittsburgh she's an owner.She wants me to drive a cargo I pay for my own fuel it's a 60/40 split she pays 70 cents a mile.Not sure waiting to get a contract emailed to me wanted to know if anyone is familiar with her.

Never heard of her, but the per mile seems low.
