There is other pay you're missing. There's Layover/detention/Short Haul/Multi Stop pay. They will go over the different rates in orientation. They should also give you a manual with all the info and rates in it. There have been times where I've made more money on the other things than the mileage pay for a load. -

thanks for all the feedback....so the general consensus is 2200 miles per week on regional is a bit high for the out 6 home 2 (or 1.5)...thats cool, i guess the more frequent home time is a fair trade off. ( i have two small ones at home and the wife lol) well im hoping for a newer cascadia, i hear there pretty nice, and 650.00 take home is twice more than im making now...

That's another thing I've been doing a lot lately, spending the night at customers. Kinda sucks having to stop mid way though the day all the time and eat up 30+ minutes for a shower. -
The Cascadias are much nicer than a Century. I couldn't believe how quiet they are and how smooth they ride when I first drove one. At night when I can Idle I don't even feel it. There's very little vibration of the truck once it get to the 750RPM idle speed and the engine is very quiet. The insulation in the sleepers much be thicker because even if a truck is idling next to me at night I usually can't hear it unless it has straight pipes or a fan that won't turn off.
