nahhh the hostility isn't toward drivers.....I live in the area and go talk to the office folk all the time....they are usually pretty decent unless something is going seriously wrong or they have more loads than trucks and are trying to juggle it all at once....they may have taken the fact that you said FUEL stop rather than truck stop so they assumed you were not going to fuel at Sheldon.....

sitting at a rest area on the east side of indy....heading to front royal...thing is my loads not due there til thursday night...and I am going to be there tomorrow night!!! uggg.....Also not looking forward to the crap brokered load back west that I will probably get hung around my neck....hopefully its not a broker load...or something that basically pays for fuel in the truck....but hey if I get home for the weekend....Im cool with whatever then...Im not overly picky though....just get tired of cheap freight sometimes...

If you're going to be more than 24 hours early to Front Royal just call Cory & he will get you on the early drop list. I've done this quite a few times without an issue. That is the major issue with the East Coast, shippers pay out the nose to get you out there because it is such a pain in the ### & the back haul stuff has so much competition since everyone is trying to get the hell out of there. Most of our smaller to mid sized shippers were really good paying until the mega carrier morons came sniffing around then the rates took a nose dive.

Sitting in Jersey City,it's lovely here...lol. Spyder I wanna give you a little advice don't spend so much time worrying about things you gotta do later, try to stay concentrated on what your doing now. I used to do the same thing and I drove myself crazy....at the end of the day you can only do what you can do.

Unified Western Grocers in Tukwila is top notch in my book! I was in a door at my appointment time, the lumper fee was reasonable & they let me hang out in the truck corral so I could complete an 8 hour break. The Jamaican dude in the guard shack even gave me a tip that the coffee hut up the street has room for trucks to get in if I needed a cup of pick me up, he read my mind! I've gotta swing through Carrier down in Auburn to download the temperature data from this ice cream then it's down to Salem, OR to load for Coralville. Kinda surprised it's a single pick and not topped off with Kennewick & Boise but I'll take it!

Picked up back across the border in Wisconsin in Marinette going to North Aurora, IL , swapped with a driver in Oshkosh who was going home who picked up a load out of Chilton,WI for me going to Doon, IA, some little small town village off of 75 about 10 miles south of Rock Rapids..

Now getting loaded in Sioux City off to Jersey for Friday Afternoon... I love running out here but don't like the pay or the hometime that comes with it lol

Hey hawk, i just spoke to the recruiter, and they are looking for drivers in this area. I was just wondering what the physical is like over there, and do they test for sleep apnea? Thanks for any information.

Sounds good, i got just enough to find a decent truck stop and hide for the night, i called angie this morning and she confirmed it was a drop & hook, and i got the ok to go latch onto it in the morning, sometimes the laid-back midwest tendency clashed with my nyooo yawk impatience, lol i wont be able to get into front royal until about late morning to noon friday ,it ain't due till 1400 that day so it shouldn't be a problem..hoping to get home by saturday am so i can load it up and haul it to the can-am dealer, i sent an inquiry about trade in, and they got a buyer thats begging for used machines, so i'm hoping to be riding a 2013 spyder sts (with a few extra bells & whistles) home in a couple weeks!

Physical is pretty standard, none of that big company crap and they don't test for sleep apnea
