Polishing fuel tanks!!!

    I used to use flour all the time and it worked great, it absorbs all the residue. Now I use fairings to cover it all up and I'm not as tired LOL.

    Try American Racing Wheel Wax. I'd try Billet Polish to help it shine better too.

    Dull, dirty, oxidized tanks still look better than fairings.

    Forget looks, it's easier for us chubby mechanics to get under tanks without fairings :)

    The UPS man brought me some goodies today. I guess I will have to buy a bag of flour too. Any other tips? I'm a polishing newb and looking to get my trucks shiney before they start work in the spring. They have no seen a buffing wheel in a long time.
