That's a very sad story.
The saddest part is, this isn't really an isolated case. All insurance companies want your money, but none want to pay out when need be.

Geragos now there is a fine pillar of society............ NOT.
He is the lawyer that was defending that scum bag Scott Peterson. -
Actually, he is a pillar of society.
He defends the indefensible against the state - which has inexhaustible resources and power to pursue its case.
Or don't you believe in the Constitution? Or the presumption of innocence? -
Unlike you I have no respect for a lawyer that would try to get off the likes of Scott Peterson or John Couey, the guy that killed Jessica Lundsford.
I never said any thing about the presumption of innocence or not, that one is on you. -
I dont care who the lawyer is......
Insurance companys have gotten OUT of control.
I had my middle son on MY insurance Jan of 92.
I reported to my new insurance (hubbys) the end of Feb 94 was going to have another child. I had to provide proof of conception was more than 2 years after my preceeding diagnosis. Seems pregnancy is a preexisting condition.
They KNEW if they waited she would die that is indifference to human life. Which brings the charge of manslaughter. Companys are NOT exempt since there is a PERSON making these decissions. -
You have no respect for DUE PROCESS then. And Due process is more important to the whole of society, than the instances you cite in an appeal to emotion.
Everyone, regardless of accusation or heinous crime, is guaranteed DUE PROCESS and that requires a defense attorney.
I guess the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are lost on you then? Huh?
